Year 10 GCSE Geography students spent a busy but rewarding couple of days on the Dorset Coast studying the movement of sediment along Studland Bay.  The trip, expertly organised by Ms Thomson, gave students the chance to put their learning into action, as they carried out a series of investigations at Knoll Beach (pictured).  The group were given expert tuition by Ben Keen from the Leeson House Field Studies Centre in Swanage.  All agreed that the trip had been a fantastic way to help them understand a key exam topic for their GCSE – and had given them a chance to enjoy the unusually fine weather!
