St John Bosco College uses the Preventive System. This is an approach in which teachers are constantly visible, approachable and supportive of the young people in their care, working to build a deep and committed relationship with each of them as individuals. Within this system behaviour and attitudes are almost always positive, as our young people 'know that they are loved' and have little need to disrespect or disrupt. The College does however have high expectations for all its' young people which are made clear at the start of their school life and are regularly and constantly reinforced. Those who undervalue their learning time will always be positively challenged. It is also essential that parents and the College work together, in the best interests of each child.
