An Outstanding Catholic School
Believe and Achieve
Welcome to St John Bosco College Battersea.
St John Bosco College is a thriving, 11-18, Roman Catholic school, located a short distance from Clapham Junction, in the heart of Battersea. The school opened in 2011 and moved into a brand-new building in 2015. Not only do we benefit from excellent modern facilities, but we are also part of a long tradition of excellence in education on this site, one which began with the foundation of Salesian College back at the end of the 19th century.
We are proud of our record of academic achievement, outstanding pastoral care and distinctive, Catholic, Salesian ethos and are always delighted to welcome visitors to the school.
We are open for visits from prospective pupils and their parents each morning at 9.00 am every day of the school year. Simply call 0207 924 8310 or email tours@sjbc.wandsworth.sch.uk to book your tour.
We look forward to seeing you.
Last month we enjoyed finding out about Latin Heritage and culture in Latin Heritage Month. We love that our community is so diverse and that all our welcome in our inclusive school! https://t.co/C93loUIXAQ
A huge thank you to Joanna Bogle for sharing the inspirational story of Sue Ryder. Our Yr 12 students and School Council students were deeply moved by Sue’s courage, faith, and dedication to service, leaving them with valuable lessons on leadership and compassion. https://t.co/6N5Uo5OqCA
SJBC students joined members of the Old Salesians Association and parishioners from Sacred Heart RC Church, to commemorate former pupils of Salesian College Battersea who lost their lives in the first and second World Wars. https://t.co/cKaRn4ReWD
Our students displayed respect and maturity during our Remembrance Service. Standing in silence for two minutes, with the Last Post echoing through, they joined Fr. David O’Malley SDB, Sr. Neethu, and our Chaplaincy Team in prayers for world peace in a deeply moving ceremony. https://t.co/MqTJbOqa5I
Thank you to students from the Chaplaincy Team who are helping us as a school focus on the importance of Remembrance Sunday. #salesianspirit #RemembranceSunday2024 #WeWillRememberThem https://t.co/FGc6z67vWL
