Level 2 pathway: one-year programme

The Level 2 pathway offers Y12 students who narrowly missed the grades for our Level 3 courses a one-year opportunity to progress.

On this pathway, students will have the chance to retake English and Maths GCSE exams and study a combination of Level 2 courses in Business Administration, ICT, Creative Media Skills, and the T-level Foundation programme. Additionally, they will receive support to access high-quality work experience and take part in all the enrichment opportunities available to SJBC sixth-form students.

Our aim is to ensure that every student who completes the Level 2 programme will seamlessly transition to Level 3 courses at SJBC, including our T-Level courses.
